Andrzej Olkowski – President of Polish Regional Breweries Association

Born 28 January 1961 in Olsztyn (Poland). Higher education - Faculty of mechanics ART (Technics and Agricultural Academy) in Olsztyn (1980-1988). During studies he spent annual holidays abroad, practicing and earning at the same time. He Worked the company ASKO Ltd in Amsterdam, gaining experience in modern management and marketing. After graduation, the 1989 worked in the architectural firm A. Kretschemet GmbH in Dusseldorf. After returning to the country he ran, his own company trading groceries. In 1993, together with partners, he founded the brewery Browar Kormoran involving the company's capital generated funds that were allocated for the construction and commissioning of the brewery.
Now one of owners and member of Menagement Board Browar Kormoran. President of Polish Regional Breweries Association (http://www.browaryregionalne.pl).

Nosenko Sergey Alexandrovich, born in 1968 graduated from the Voronezh School of Military Engineering of Radioelectronics. After the service in the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation began working in the agricultural complex, in commercial organizations «Jet» and «Raduga» in July 1994, then in CJSC «Melkruk» in the position of the Director General.

In 1996 graduated from All-Russian Distance Institute of Finance and Economics in Moscow with a degree in «Economics, Accounting, Auditing and Analysis». Then he has been working in the grain company for two years.

Taking into account a high professional level, Sergey was appointed to the position of the CEO of JSC «Bryanskpivo». Thanks to the best business practices, he began modernizing and reconstructing the company: fermentation and lager cellar, utility systems, a new transformer sub-station has been launched; reconstruction of the malt mill with capacity of 100 tones per day; a new safety mashmap has been installed; automated supply and cleaning of malt and a filling line for PET containers with capacity of 9000 thousand of bottles per hour has been set etc.   
     
Having a five year experience in the position of the CEO of «Bryanskpivo», Sergey showed himself a great organizer – manager and analyst. Having paid much attention to human resources, he selected a bright management team. He is respected by directors of different companies and colleagues.

Biography

Maximilian Michel graduated from the Technical University of München with a degree as diplom engineer for brewing and beverage technology in 2014. He then started to work for the Research Center Weihenstephan for brewing and food quality as consulting engineer. Further he started a PhD program with the topic of finding new yeast from other genera than Saccharomyces for the fermentation of beer.

Professor of the faculty of Food technologies and engineering in ITMO University, St-Petersburg

Work experience:
32 –year experience in the brewing sphere.
An author of various monographies.
- Raw materials and auxiliary materials in the brewing industry;
- Sanitation and hygiene in brewing;
- Beer quality: stability of taste and aroma, colloidal firmness, degustation.

Studied yeast and malt biotechnologies, creation of new beer technologies and stabilization of its quality characteristics, development of foods for particular nutritional uses.     
Over 300 persons from the following brewing plants as “Baltika”, “Heineken”, “DEKA”, “Samko”, “Maykop brewing plant”, “Efes”, “Stavropol brewing plant”, Orlinsky plant” etc. attended advanced training under the supervision of Tatyana Meledina.

In 2012 awarded the Order of Merit for “the Development of the brewing industry”
